King Salomao

He started at age twelve in Mozambique as a dancer. He developed his creative qualities and skills with many dance companies. He embraced the opportunity to train, teach dance workshops, and eventually perform all over the world.

He is steadfast in blending his talent and experience to give insight to and help raise awareness to address social issues in Africa. He has worked with several nonprofit organisations including World Vision & Save the Children.

Currently as a founding member of Yebo Dance Collective, where he is concentrating his efforts to increasing the presence of the declining
African dance and culture.

Afro Dance HITS

She is a dancer, choreographer, and performer with more than 15 years of experience. She loves to share her passion for dance & choreography. Come join us as she delves into the world of Afro-Beats. She is originally from the Ivory Coast, grew up in France. Her love of African music and dance inspired her to learn Modern, Jazz, hip hop, salsa, samba, Soukouss, N’dombolo, Zouglou, and traditional dances from the Ivory Coast like Gbegbe, Té Maté, Kaoka, and Zaouli. She was the lead dancer of the Afro-Caribbean dance group NASSUCO, and has performed various dance styles at many music festivals and stadiums. She has choreographed and danced for various popular African and Caribbean musicians including Awilo Longomba, Sekouba Bambino, Barbara Kanam, Sakis, and Orlus Mabele. She has performed and toured in over fourteen countries as well.

Kaoka Dance

Born in Ivory Coast in West Africa, Fanzy Monguehy Taha began dancing at the age of three.
As a professional dancer, he worked with the Ivory Coast National Ballet, where he performed traditional African dance around the world in countries such as France, England Japan, Canada, China, the United States, etc.
Afterwards, he moved to the United States in 1994 and was a performer at Disney World in Orlando and Bush Gardens in Tampa, Florida. He has performed over many years for the Brooklyn Academy of Music in 1997 to present.
